Every student deserves
to understand
their own choice.
I’m Rajwant Kaur. My work brings together years in education, my experience as a parent, and a personal understanding of what it means to have an interest without knowing where it could lead.

Capable students.
Caring parents.
Unanswered questions.
Over sixteen years in education and school leadership, I met students choosing subjects through marks, family expectations or the choices their friends had made.
Their parents wanted to help. Often, both needed a clearer way to think it through.
Some students had several interests. Others had never had the opportunity to discover one. A report card could tell us how they had performed, but it could not tell us everything we needed to understand.
That is why I moved into career guidance: to give this conversation the time, structure and attention it deserves.
I know the feeling
of wanting to
get it right.
My daughter’s own academic journey moved between Economics and Political Science before she found a clearer direction connected with public policy.
I experienced the questions and changing interests as a parent, not just as an educator. It taught me to make room for uncertainty, and to distinguish a thoughtful change of direction from a failure to decide.
A student sometimes needs space to explore. A parent sometimes needs help understanding what that exploration is revealing.

Ability needs
possibility.
As a member of the Junior Indian hockey team who attended national camps, I knew what it meant to work hard at something I cared about. When I stopped playing, I did not have the guidance to explore the wider possibilities connected with sport.
An interest deserves a chance to meet the real world.
Your child brings
more than marks.
I make room for that.
I listen to the student
Their perspective belongs at the centre. The first Blueprint session is with them alone.
I work with the parent
Your concerns matter. We make space to discuss them honestly and thoughtfully.
I explain the reasoning
An assessment is evidence, not a verdict. We consider it alongside conversation, school realities and experience.
I leave you with a next step
The aim is a choice the student understands and can take ownership of.
A clearer next step starts
with understanding.
